alex font has many strings to his bow, not least running the excellent acme label, and here he is on one of his other ventures, third stream. with improvisation placed at the forefront of the creative process, font turns out functional club tracks with curious kinks and moments of intrigue worked into the structure. onda tropical is definitely dj friendly with its insistent percussive framework, but there are interesting diversions, fills and edits peppered throughout. musica moderna (cds tribute) meanwhile rolls on a more consistent groove, with a more organic set of drums pitched right at the heart of a long and winding dj set
alex the fairy returns to finders fee with rusty blade tears, the second record of three. the first track, a 4/4 kick blindly barging through an arcade is followed by a bathtub riding down the motorway in a dali-esque landscape. on the b-side, an angry cordless phone precedes some rusty ice cubes in arctic water. finder’s fee is a label for found sounds, found melodies and found rhythms.
4 house disco bombs ! already supported by: the black madonna, laurent garnier, dan shake, patrick topping, kettama, luke solomon, monki, cinthie, tiga, gene ferris, honey soundsystem, big miz, hot sine 82, claptone
absolutely mindblowing peak time stormer! the release comes in 45 rpm with a lot of pressure. the b-side has a very special etching and a nice printed fullcover gives this peace of art a very decent look. collectors item - strong limited run!

12 Inch 13.04.19
leftroom continue their rejuvenated, rich vein of subversive form with this dynamite 12inch from a man who needs no introduction whatsoever: alex arnout.
repress 2019 - all that jelly and no toast - like when you find a bomb tune that s unavailable on 12-. the new sublabel of smile for a while is exactly about this. clubby house music by well-established producers as well as from lesser-known guys. french guy alex agore opens the ep with the lowtone remix of -what did i do- - cut-up garage house to the maxx. max chapman from london delivers another belter, a bassline-driven organ house tune with a minimalistic but very effective set-up. oleg poliakov - aka skat and one of the guys behind circus company - comes up with a sublime but powerful tech house tune, in the original sense of the genre name. -jazzve- is a tune by russian producer mutenoise. it s maybe the most original, innovative tune on this ep. full of surprises and cutting-edge elements - hard to compare to anything else around these days.
alex dorothée was born in guadaloupe, and lived between paris and his hometown. he began his musical career as part of the band: the will boy, vautours and les junior de paris. he has released 8 albums and several singles. harmonie exotic will re-propose you the reissue of the album “au krisma discothèque” released in the mid 80s.
alex troubetzkoy releases for the first time on his own label, with 3 personnal tracks. still picking on his jazz influences, while keeping texture and sound quality as a priority, the music we are dicovering is full of personality. denis kaznacheev joins him for the remix
no holds bard techno with a stellar acid rework from frenchman voiski. teksupport welcomes the forever consistent alex dolby. alex dolby spans over 15 years and his latest record techno record under pressure shows there is no slowing him down.
alex metric & ten vens transmission 1 is their first release on diynamic, although their productions are not unheard of in the labels orbit as solomun has been supporting them heavily in his sets throughout recent months. opening track the q, much like the closing track plates, are reminiscent of old uk garage raves with a hint of acid. minuscule shifts in the pitch give that certain cassette-nostalgia, transporting the listener back to the early 90s. the centre piece titled nebula is a driving melodic deep house tune with a hefty break that brings things to a halt right at its centre, only to return with the catchy riff that is its main feature.
our third release comes from alex picone an artist and early supporter of our label that we deeply respect for his many skills both in the studio and in the dj booth, and his musical approach that allows him to stay away from trends and clichés. the 3 tracks contained in this ep have been road tested in alex’s live at hoppetosse back in february and weekly dj sets and for us they represent the peak of his relentless audio research into achieving his best mix and eq’ing, so much so this ep comes to you without any audio mastering, recorded straight out from alex’s gear.
lithuanian based label sodai started its journey in 2016, making it a label still in it’s infancy but making a big impression. owned by artist gardens of god, who started the label to create his own ‘no limits’ plat-form for his experimental sounds and projects. while at the same time a platform to give other artists the chance to also have freedom with art and music. with releases from raxon, few nolder and third son under their belt, the label shows no sign of slowing down, next in line is italian producer alex schaufel (suara, diynamic) who is welcomed to the label with a his heavy hitting four track ep entitled ‘roots’.
the latest release on francis harris scissor & thread is another exercise in subtlety and restraint, brought to us by the emerging talents of nadia khan. with little known about the artist, this release lets the sublime music do the talking. title track ‘in gleam is a beautifully evocative drift into ambient textures - rising pads and occasion bass tones combine to set an exquisite scene. ‘local visit is a collaboration with label boss francis harris, and features some of the trademark submerged rhythm and textures the label has become known for, unfolding its deep structures over the course of the track. ‘restless sees label regular alex albrecht aka melquíades (whose previous ep on s&t was received warmly) provide the last bells remix - again muted tones and rhythmic complexity glide under ethereal piano fragments and slowly evolving pad washes. ‘sorting through finds its groove early, a deadened kick unfolds into an urgent percussion creating a thick atmosphere of melancholia. ‘sunburnt rounds out the physical release - ending how it started - with dreamy, smudged tones, and warm pads.
